Durante mediados del siglo XX, la joyería de fantasía fina adoptó técnicas artesanales y materiales sintéticos innovadores como el celuloide para recrear el opulento diseño de la época victoriana. Collar tipo gargantilla de perlas artificiales de tres hileras con un vistoso broche central de celuloide tallado en una detallada composición de flores, destacando un relieve central de rosas en tono marfil. El diseño del marco exterior está dominado por pequeñas flores incrustadas, cuentas perladas menores y acentos de pedrería fina brillantes dispuestos de manera simétrica sobre una base de metal oscuro trabajado, acompañado de un broche de cadena ajustable y un dije terminal floral en el cierre.
